Knowledge translation (KT) is an active process that includes the synthesis, dissemination, exchange and implementation of knowledge. KT aims to bridge the gap between knowledge producers and knowledge users with the goal of improving health, providing more effective health services, and strengthening the healthcare system.
The Knowledge Translation & Communications Team at the Department of Family Medicine works with faculty members and research teams to develop strategic KT plans and products including plain language summaries, research briefs, social media content, infographics, and videos.
Below is a selection of knowledge translation products developed for DFM research. For KT resources, visit these pages on our Toolkit for Research in Action (TRAction): Knowledge Translation and Share your Research Findings.
