Grand Erie Six Nations Site Director
The Grand Erie Six Nations Site allows the Department of Family Medicine (DFM) to learn and live into a Two-Eyed/Two Row approach with the support and input of the DFM Indigenous Health Committee, the DFM Faculty Lead and Manager of Indigenous Health, and the Indigenous Health Learning Lodge. We recognize the urgent need to address anti-Indigenous racism in medicine and are seeking a Site Lead with a good understanding of cultural humility, and a willingness to work with all partners to ensure safe and effective learning and care environments for all who receive and offer care within the GE6N Site.
Position Summary:
The Grand Erie Six Nations (GE6N) Site Director works in a collaborative educational leadership model to promote an inclusive and holistic approach to educational programming and administration of the Family Medicine Residency Program at the site. The Site Director works closely with the Department of Family Medicine Indigenous Health Advisor in all aspects of leadership, including the promotion of truth and reconciliation, equity, inclusivity, and educational excellence.
