Former resident Dominik Nowak becomes Ontario Medical Association’s 143rd president

Dominik Nowak, who completed medical school at McMaster and his family medicine residency at McMaster Family Practice in Hamilton, is now the 143rd president of the Ontario Medical Association.

DFM is proud and excited to see one of our recent grads assume the role of OMA President. Dr. Nowak demonstrated an early interest in leadership while a resident in our program and has continued to seek ways to contribute to making the health care system better for patients and providers. We hope he can hear all the McMaster voices cheering him on and wishing him well as he advocates for improving Ontario’s health care system.
