Join DFM faculty, staff and the Indigenous Teaching Through Art Program team for a reflective and interactive morning as we come together to honour the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Building on the learning and relationships fostered through Indigenous Teaching Through Art (ITTA), this workshop will explore what reconciliation looks like in everyday practice and how each of us can contribute through our unique gifts, roles, and relationships.
Together, we will reflect on our reconciliation journeys, learn from examples of meaningful action, and consider how we can continue to strengthen DFM’s commitment to Truth and Reconciliation.
Participants are encouraged to wear an orange shirt in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and to honour Survivors of residential schools, their families, and their communities.
A link to the recently published paper on the Indigenous Teaching Through Art (ITTA) initiative is included with this invitation for those who would like to read it.
