Advancing Patient Care through Family Physician CME

Dr Gina Agarwal and the VIP Research Lab have developed Community Paramedicine Continuing Medical Education (CME) for Family Physicians. The goal of this free CME is to introduce family physicians to community paramedicine and facilitate collaboration with community paramedics in order to foster improved patient care.
This is a one-credit, one-hour online learning program that meets the certification criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been certified by the McMaster University Continuing Professional Development Program for 1 Mainpro+ credit. This certification ensures that the program meets high standards of educational quality and relevance to family physicians. It will enable its learners to understand what community paramedicine is, how it relates to family physicians in Ontario, what the Community Paramedicine at Clinic (CP@clinic) is and how it is integrated within family practice medicine.
The Community Paramedicine Continuing Medical Education for Family Physicians is available free of charge to family physicians, residents, students and nurse practitioners. If you are a family physician or family medicine resident, please consider registering for this CME and claim your Mainpro credit.
